Monthly Board Meetings
The Tampa PBA is comprised of an Executive Committee and a Board of Director to whom the Executive Committee is accountable. The Executive Board has three Full-time release members who work at the PBA office: President, Vice President and Secretary. The 2nd Vice President (Sergeant at Arms) is a Part-time position and their work is divided between the PBA and street duties.
The Board of Directors is currently comprised of 10 Directors. The Board meets at least once each month for discuss PBA Business. An Agenda for each meeting is disseminated prior to the monthly meeting. The Agenda serves a the notice of the meeting and notice of the items to be discussed at this time. All items on the Agenda are presented in their order of importance.
In order to hold a proper meeting, a Quorum must be established. As prescribed in the Tampa PBA Constitution and By-Laws, a Quorum for our meetings consists of a minimum of 8 Board Members. The Tampa PBA monthly meetings are held on the THIRD Tuesday of each month at 2:00 PM. The monthly Board of Directors Meetings will be held at the PBA office, 1302 West Busch Blvd. The meetings are open to all members.
